“ In her artworks, Laura Ozymko engages in a dialogue with historical narratives and religious tradition, showing how contemporary art can reinterpret cultural heritage.
She creates textures that evoke mineralogy – marble or limestone and strong chromatic contrasts, where light and shadow structure the figure. The refined precision of her execution gives her subjects an almost sculptural presence, suspended between time and space. This research lends her work a timeless quality, at the intersection of tradition and modernity, subtly renewing the codes of the classical canon while anchoring them in a contemporary sensibility.
Her work thus reflects a rigorous and sensitive approach to figurative art, where ancient heritage and contemporary expression intertwine with coherence, depth, and symbolic resonance.”

“In order to offer a complete visit to this new space and to keep the narrative and iconographic thread of the tapestry of the life of Saint Remi, the artist Laura Ozymko was chosen by the Saint Remi museum (Reims) to reinterpret the tapestries still under restoration. The Fabularis series, which she designed and painted with acrylic painting and POSCA markers, consists of seven original works in the format 60 cm x 60 cm produced on 200 g grain paper, digitally enlarged, then printed in 3 m x 3 m on a matte textile support.
Artworks of a religious nature were already in her repertoire (such as the Smile of Reims, Saint Rita, or the Virgin in Prayer by Sassoferrato) . On this project, the artist faced several challenges: working on the reinterpretation of monumental works of religious art while responding to precise specifications over a very limited time frame.”

According to Greek mythology, the Charites: Euphrosyne (Joy), Aglae (Splendor) and Thalia (Abundance) are the three daughters of Zeus and Eurynome, a sea nymph.
The artwork Xápis (Charis / Grace) made entirely by hands with Posca markers and acrylic painting presents an artistic study of the Three Graces by Antonio Canova, a masterpiece of European neoclassical sculpture, under a new corner. The three goddesses are the perfect embodiment of Beauty, Grace and Movement. Nestled in the depths of white Carrara marble, this celestial combination calls for an ideal of timeless Art.
If in myths the Three Graces never appeared in the foreground, in Art they have become the protagonists of countless works. Muses, they represent the ideal of feminine beauty of each era and each artist for more than 2500 years.
